Luke Yates - Christian Country Artist
Over the past twenty years Luke has performed more than 2000 concerts throughout the US. At 18 he started touring with the Nationally recognized gospel music men’s vocal band, New Legacy Project [formerly known as the Blackwood Legacy], and was mentored by the popular Gospel Music Hall of Fame Member, Rick Price.
During his career Luke has also teamed up with local musicians and national acts such as James Otto and Keith Anderson! Wherever he goes, he carries the light of the Lord in him.
Luke has been in and out of recording studios from Nashville to LA. He is a gifted musician, singer, writer, arranger, producer and engineer. His passion for music and his love of the Lord makes him more than a performer… He is an evangelist with a call to share the Gospel good news through music and testimony. Luke performs nearly 120 Christian Concerts each year across the United States. While he doesn't preach, he lets the music share the important salvation message. Collette Nybakken - Missionary to Cambodia
Collette Nybakken is getting ready to start her first term as a long-term missionary in Cambodia. She will be sharing with us the responsibilities and duties of her service along with information about the church in Cambodia. We will have the opportunity to encourage, pray for, and support Collette as she makes preparations for this exciting journey.
Spring Bible School
Our Annual Spring Bible School is House of Faith’s Spring Community Service Event for children ages 4-10. Held on Saturday May 4th, this event offers parents some free time, and their kids an afternoon of fun activities. More importantly, kids have an opportunity to hear of the giver of ‘New Life’, Jesus.
Easter Sunday Service
Come celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus! Enjoy fellowship, hot beverages, and pastries at 10:30. At 10:45 we will celebrate with music, inspirational teaching, and communion. Hope you can join us!
Good Friday "The Passion of the Christ"
Join us on Good Friday as we remember Christ’s suffering on our behalf. Take some time through the morning hours for introspection and fasting. Then join us to view “The Passion of the Christ” film, followed by worship and communion. It’s Friday, but Sunday is coming!!
Christmas Service
Join us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior! Refreshments served at 10:30, service at 10:45. Christmas carols, candlelight, and devotional reflections will touch your heart and draw you into the Spirit of Christmas.
HOF Christmas Pizza Party
Plan to stay after church to enjoy HOF family fellowship. For lunch, we will order pizza (please plan to donate $), and bring your favorite holiday cookies or candies to share. I love ‘swap’ gift exchanges, so let’s have one! Bring a wrapped white elephant (used), or Dollar (1.24 😊) Store, item. Make it as silly as you want and spend little to no money. It is fun to see what is behind that wrapping and then have sanctioned theft, as we steal our favorite items. All in lighthearted fun of course! 😊 Please bring games. Mexican Train Dominos anyone?
Christmas Bible School
Parents, this is your chance to check some items off of your Christmas to-do list while your children are hearing the Christmas story, singing carols, making crafts, and snacking on Christmas cookies. Women's Fall Painting Party
We will meet in the Church Fellowship Hall, $10 covers supplies and lunch (Soup, salad, and rolls). You can sign up on the sheet in the foyer or email Pastor Kitty at 1houseoffaithcda@gmail.com. Pastor Melissa will be our instructor. We don’t need to be accomplished artists. We can just enjoy each other’s company and see how it turns out. If nothing else, we can have a good laugh. Lunch & Messiah's Mansion Tour
See the Bible come to life. Gain an appreciation for Bible history and culture while cultivating a deeper understanding of the Sanctuary and the plan of salvation. Following Sunday Service on the 27th of August, we will meet for lunch at Elmer’s on Appleway then travel to the Messiah’s Mansion Tour, scheduled at 3:00. The tour lasts approximately one hour and 15 minutes. Messiah’s Mansion is scheduling tours in Hayden from August 26th through September 3rd. Jesus Revolution
Let’s all get out in support of Christian Cinema. Jesus Revolution tells the true story of Greg Laurie, who converted to Christianity in the late 1960s and went on to be influenced by the burgeoning Jesus movement. Laurie was also influenced by pastor Chuck Smith, who, in real life as in the film, opened the doors of his church to a new generation of hippie followers.
